Poland after World war 2

Truman's arrogance and Stalin's persistence soured the relationship of the Grand Alliance. It was further strained when the USSR had agreed to set up a government in Poland with Communists and Capitalists, however, Stalin broke his promise and set up a government with only Communists. Although the Potsdam Conference finished with a spirit of unity on the inside there was bitter division between the USSR and USA.
